What's in Free, Starter, and Pro — and how to decide which one fits.
Last updated: Tue May 12 2026 00:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)
channel-guard has three plans. The differences are channel count, sync frequency, and which alert types are included.
Free — $0
- 1 channel tracked
- Daily sync (one snapshot per day, around 16:00 UTC)
- Email alerts only (no Discord/Slack)
- 14-day policy-diff history
- Standard support (community forum)
Right for:
- Single-channel hobbyists
- Trying out channel-guard before committing
- Channels with predictable, slow-changing performance
Starter — $29 / month ($24 / month annually)
- 5 channels tracked
- Hourly sync
- Email and webhook alerts
- Full policy-diff history (since launch)
- BAN-domino warnings across your tracked channels
- Group-level dashboards
- 14-day free trial, no credit card to start
Right for:
- 2–5 channel operators
- Operators in niches where policy changes hit fast (true crime, gambling, health)
- Anyone running a faceless multi-channel operation
Pro — $79 / month ($65 / month annually)
- 30 channels tracked
- 15-minute priority sync
- Email, webhook, and SMS alerts
- AdSense API integration (revenue side, requires AdSense API approval)
- Advanced analytics (custom thresholds, anomaly detection, predictive risk score)
- Priority support (24-hour response)
- All Starter features included
Right for:
- Larger channel networks (10+ channels)
- Operators who need fast reaction time on enforcement waves
- Teams managing channels professionally
Network — coming in V2
- Unlimited channels
- Custom sync intervals
- Dedicated Slack channel for support
- White-glove onboarding
- Custom integrations
Right for:
- Agencies managing client channels
- Media companies with 30+ channels
- Operations with custom workflow requirements
How to choose
Decision tree:
- 1 channel, low-risk niche, casual usage: Free
- 2–5 channels, want webhook alerts: Starter
- 6+ channels OR high-risk niche OR need 15-min response time: Pro
- 30+ channels OR team/agency operations: Network (V2)
Upgrading or downgrading
You can change plans any time in Settings → Billing:
- Upgrade: takes effect immediately, prorated charge
- Downgrade: takes effect at end of current billing period
If you downgrade and have more channels than the new plan allows, the excess channels stop syncing but remain visible. You can choose which ones to keep active.
Cancellation
Cancel any time in Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription:
- Access continues to end of current billing period
- After expiry, you fall back to Free tier (1 channel)
- Historical data is retained for 30 days; permanent deletion happens after that
You can reactivate any time within the 30-day grace window without data loss.
Annual billing
All paid plans offer ~17% discount on annual billing (effectively 10 months for 12). Payment is upfront for the full year.
Multi-team / multi-user
V1 supports one user per account. Team/multi-user support is on the V1.5 roadmap.
Refund policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first payments. After 14 days, paid amounts are non-refundable but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges.
