Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-05-13
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of channel-guard (the "Service"), operated by Onnuri Stationery, a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
channel-guard is a channel health monitoring tool for YouTube channel operators. We poll connected YouTube channels via Google APIs and send you alerts when we detect view drops, monetization-status changes, or published YouTube policy updates that may affect your channels.
What the Service does not do. We do not control, influence, or prevent any action by YouTube, Google, or any third party. We cannot guarantee that any channel termination, monetization suspension, demonetization, traffic loss, or policy enforcement will be detected, will be detected in time, or will be prevented. The Service is an informational tool, not insurance.
channel-guard is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You may only connect YouTube channels that you own or are formally authorized to monitor on the owner's behalf. Connecting a channel you do not have permission to access is a material breach of these Terms.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. License to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for the monitoring of your own YouTube channels.
4. YouTube API Services
The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit anyone to:
- use the Service to evade, work around, or violate the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube Community Guidelines, the YouTube Partner Program policies, or any applicable law;
- reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying ideas of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
- share your account, allow concurrent sign-ins from unrelated parties, or resell access to the Service;
- interfere with the operation of the Service, transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data;
- use the Service to build a competing product, train a machine learning model on outputs from the Service, or to mass-collect data about other creators.
6. Subscription, billing & free trial
- A free tier is available with limited channel monitoring. Paid plans add channel quota and priority features.
- Paid plans include a 14-day free trial unless stated otherwise. You will not be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge is made.
- After the trial, paid plans renew automatically each month at the stated price. You authorize Paddle, our payment processor, to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing settings inside the Service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate partial months.
- We may change pricing at any time. Pricing changes apply to billing cycles starting at least 30 days after the change is published.
7. Refunds
Because the 14-day free trial gives you the opportunity to evaluate the Service at no cost, paid subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law (including consumer-protection rights under Korean law). For refund inquiries, email kwan765@naver.com.
8. Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms, if continued operation would expose us or other users to material risk, or if we are required to do so by law or by Google. We will refund any prepaid fees attributable to the period after termination unless termination is for breach.
9. Disclaimers — no warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION OF THE SERVICE.
Without limiting the above, we do not warrant that the Service will detect every monetization change, policy update, or termination risk, or that any alert will reach you in time to take action. YouTube and Google may change their products, policies, or APIs at any time in ways that affect detection accuracy.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ONNURI STATIONERY, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR CHANNELS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU ACTUALLY PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US$50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Onnuri Stationery, its officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) the YouTube channels you connect or the content on them; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including the YouTube Terms of Service or any applicable law.
12. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be announced via email or via a notice on the homepage at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The Seoul Central District Court (서울중앙지방법원) shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any such dispute, except where prohibited by mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
14. Miscellaneous
- If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
- You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
